Diligent Pow Wow performers and composers love the sound of live recordings and surprisingly prefer cassette recordings rather than professional recordings that are done in studio. Cassette recording with 12 strong singers convey through song war cry and harmony; it's not soft or compressed. They're loud, proud, high spirited often evoking the one true spirit of native people and the love of Pow Wow and Round Dance.

Since 1988 SGWE Productions has gathered numerous recordings and developed a music archive. Our archive contains historical top notch round dance songs along with some of the best Pow Wow songs. Since the inception of SGWE Productions and our love for Pow Wow/Round Dance has alleviated and contributes to this archive project which were are most proud of, yet.

Respectfully the songs we collected are at the corner stone of historical audio recordings. These songs tell stories of who we are and perhaps where we've been. Throughout our journey on the trail we have made many friends that we call family. Thus the Logan Alexis Singers have honored these legendary composers and drummers by hosting four consecutive Memorial Round dances in remembrance of the "Late Logan Alexis".
